Description:
OBITUARY Philip C. Crampton was born
in Canada October 1, 1863. While
yet a boy he moved with his parents
to Wisconsin. During their
residence in Wisconsin the father (John Crampton)
died. In 1881 they moved to S.
Dakota and settled in Tobin twp.
He was married to Catherine
Anglum at Tobin Church in Sept
1887. To them were born two
daughters, Mrs. Val (Mae Crampton) Heinz of
Tobin township and Mrs. Leo
(Katherine Crampton) Vander May of Wanamaker, S.
D. He died June 12, 1919 and
was burried at Emsley June 15.
He is survived by his widow and
two daughters, 5 grand children,
three brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Crampton's two brothers,
Dave Anglum of Larchwood and
Michael Anglum of Early, Iowa
and their wives, Mrs. John Falen
and son Coleman and Mr. and
Mrs. Leo Trentz of Armour were
among the relatives from other
points who attended the funeral.
The Enterprise joins with the

the sȯrrowing family.
