Description:
US Indiana Census 1920 - William and Elizabeth (Voor) Boesing. With guest Elizabeth Eshake (Eshhaker/Eshaker)

Line 91
* William Boesing, age 31, immigrated in 1900, naturalized in 1912, born in Germany, mother tongue German, etc..
* Elizabeth (Voor), age 24, born in Indiana, mother tongue German, etc..
* Bernard, age 3/12, born in Indiana, etc..
* Elizabeth Eshake, age 68, aunt, age 68, immigrated in 1880, naturalized in 1900, born in Germany, etc..

At his point, it is the final ending to this story.

"Catherine Eshuber's father was a sailor before coming Borden, Indiana to live. He cleared the land and built a large log house. It was in this house that Catherine was born. There were four children in this family. The house is still standing and is good repair. Wm. Basing, an adopted son of Ben Eshuber, (brother of Catherine), now occupies the House. Fred never married and the fourth, a sister, married, had a large family and lived in Kentucky."

This is pretty much the whole truth to this oral history from Mae (Crampton) Heinz. Some notes.
* There were 5 children, Anna Mary died in childhood, thus, most likely not talked about.
* Seems the William Boesing story is true as in this 1920 census, Ben's wife is in the household after he died in 1918.
* At this point I can not the sister Elizabeth.
* Ben's brother Fred is buried alone in Evansville. I have found no other records for him.

Unfortunately, the family name dies out at this point. Both Ben and Fred never had children but the spirit seems to live on in William Boesing.
